Terms of Service

1. About the site

Palia Companion is an independent fan project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Singularity 6 or Palia. Palia and all related names, logos, artwork and characters belong to Singularity 6. Game pictures shown on the site come from the community-run Palia Wiki.

2. Who can use it

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. When you sign up we ask for your date of birth to confirm this; we keep only the result of that check, not your birth date. If you are under 18, please make sure a parent or guardian is okay with you using the site. In some countries the legal age to agree to these terms without a parent's permission is higher than 13; if that applies to you, please use the site only with your parent or guardian's permission.

3. Your account

• Keep your login details private. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
• Don't pretend to be someone else, including Palia staff, Singularity 6 or another player.
• Your display name should be appropriate for a community of all ages (13+).
• You can delete your account at any time from Settings. See Data Deletion.

4. What you post

You keep ownership of what you post: chat messages, party and community details, your profile, pictures and ratings. By posting, you give us permission to store and show it on the site so the features work (for example, showing your party to other players or your messages in a chat). This permission ends when the content or your account is deleted, except where someone else has already been shown it or we must keep it (see the Privacy Policy).

Only post things you have the right to share. Content in public parties, communities and Global Chat can be seen by other players.

5. Rules

Follow the Community Guidelines. In short: be kind, no harassment, hate, sexual content, spam, scams or sharing other people's personal information, and don't try to break, overload or scrape the site or get into accounts or data that aren't yours.

6. Moderation

Moderators and admins may remove content, lock or close parties and communities, and restrict, suspend or close accounts that break these terms or the Community Guidelines, with or without warning. You can report messages using the report option in chat.

7. Other services

The site links to and uses other services, such as Discord and Google (for signing in), Discord party invite links, the Palia Wiki (where game pictures come from) and palia.com (for news). Those services have their own terms and we aren't responsible for them.

8. The site is provided "as is"

Palia Companion is a free hobby project. We do our best to keep it running and accurate (recipes, schedules, times), but we can't promise it will always be available, error-free or up to date with the game. We may change, pause or remove features at any time.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Palia Companion and the people who run it are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from your use of the site, other players' actions, or content they post. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be waived.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If the changes are significant, we'll ask you to review and accept them the next time you visit. The date at the top shows when they last changed.
